The Lensun Toyota 4Runner 4th & 5th Gen Solar Panel mounts to the hood of the vehicle. It is shaped perfectly for the hood of the vehicle and is easy to install with plug and play wiring.

This panel can charge your fridge, lights, phones, cameras, radios and everything else, you never have to worry about running out of battery while camping or off the grid.

Features of the Lensun 100W 12V Hood Solar Panel/Toyota 4Runner 4th & 5th Gen

  • Always keep the vehicle battery or auxiliary battery charged without starting the engine. Park your car in the sun, leave your fridge running, charge all your electronics and lights, and your battery will charge. No need to worry about running out of battery while exploring.
  • Keep charging the power station. The solar panel comes with a standard solar connector and uses an adapter (sold separately) to charge most power stations on the market, such as Jackery/Goalzero/Suoki/Flashfish.
  • Reduces hood glare. The surface of the Lensun cover solar panel is a high-quality ETFE film that does not reflect light. In addition, the light-absorbing properties of the solar panel reduce glare while driving.
  • Convenient and space saving. The hood solar panel attaches directly to the hood of the vehicle with no roof rack or mounting hardware required. A complete plug and play system is easy to install. Unlike portable solar panels, they don't need to be installed or stored in your vehicle, which can take up valuable cargo space.
  • Protects and extends battery life: This ensures that our batteries can only hold a maximum of 60% charge when driving daily and will not start in summer when parked for 2-3 weeks. Also, the battery runs out after 2-3 years. The Lensun Hood solar panel keeps your vehicle's battery charged and protects it.
  • Optional plug and play waterproof 10A MPPT solar charge controller with pre-wired fuses, terminals and connectors. The solar charge controller is based on common negative design and advanced MPPT control algorithm, with intelligent protection against reverse polarity, overload, short circuit and reverse current. This solar controller is compatible with multiple battery options: sealed, AGM, gel, liquid, and lithium-ion.
  • Optional custom vinyl decals protect your vehicle's paint from damage. We recommend using a vinyl sticker between the solar panel and the hood.

Installing the Lensun 100W 12V Hood Solar Panel/Toyota 4Runner 4th & 5th Gen

  • It can be installed with 3M tape or Sikaflex adhesive (you must purchase 3M VHB tape and silicone for mounting). We recommend mounting your solar panels with our special vinyl decals. Vinyl decals are applied under the solar panels to protect the paint on the canopy. Vinyl decals are applied to the hood in the same way as traditional hood decals or car vinyl decals.
  • Installation must be done in a dry environment between 18° and 35°C (64° and 95°F). When it is cold, the solar panel is not flexible enough to conform to the hood and the adhesive does not adhere properly. The installation will fail if you don't know how to install it, we suggest you have it installed at your local car modification shop.
