PWM 10A 12V/24V charge regulators are economical, designed for small and low-power installations.
This type of regulators, modulated by pulse width, can only be used in panels of 12 volts and 36 cells or 24 volts and 72 cells.
They are regulators that use the voltage that the battery has, independently of that generated by the photovoltaic solar panels.
This means that when the voltage produced by the panels is higher than that of the battery, it is wasted. That is, the energy generated by the panels is not used to the maximum.
They are regulators designed for small, low-power installations. The great advantage they have is that they are cheaper regulators.
The 10A 12/24V PWM charge regulator controls the charging and discharging of the system. The main characteristics or functionalities of this model are the following:
- Automatic recognition of 12V or 24V voltage.
- Updated three-stage PWM charging algorithm. Thanks to its equalizer that allows you to charge the battery periodically or when it is discharged, sulfurization of the battery is avoided, thus increasing its useful life.
- Charge parameters are automatically balanced, with temperature compensation.
- It has a wide range of work modes, which facilitates the application of the product to different types of load.
- The regulator offers protection against overload, discharge and against short circuits.
- Easy and intuitive design that facilitates the operation.
- Its robust design allows it to function perfectly under harsh environmental conditions.
- Provides lightning protection.
