The Tensite 6V 450Ah Battery is an accumulator designed for use in photovoltaic solar energy. The Tensite 6V 450Ah Battery falls into the deep cycle category, with great robustness and manufacturing quality to offer full performance guarantees. Its internal structure with cast flat plates and double insulation prevent cracks from appearing in the separators throughout their useful life. All the technologies that it incorporates help to maximize the useful life and prevent us from problems derived from its use.

The battery has 3 cells, 2V each, and they have a higher electrolyte reserve so that the maintenance intervals are more widely spaced and without being detrimental to the useful life of the accumulator. Its lead plates allow a long service life, with an average life of 7 years as long as the manufacturer's instructions for use are respected.

In the event that we intend to use this Tensite 6V 450Ah Battery for a 12V system, we will need 2 units connected in series as shown in the image above.

If, on the other hand, we have a 24V system, we will need 4 units of the 6V 450Ah Tensite Battery and they must be in series as can be seen in the image above.

For the installation of the battery we must make sure not to mix different models. No special tools are required, beyond a wrench for the nuts that hold the wiring to its terminals. Due to its solid construction, it does not deform throughout its useful life and does not require a special bench to locate it.

Behavior of the cycle of the Battery 6V 450Ah Tensite

The 6V 450Ah Tensite Battery offers a high life cycle rate for this deep cycle model. It provides more than 2000 life cycles for a discharge of around 25% on average at 20º of ambient temperature. If we are around 50% discharge, we will have half the cycles, around 1000. These numbers are the direct result of high-quality manufacturing processes and the use of the best materials to ensure good longevity and an excellent commitment to the cost of production and materials.
