PIKO 12-20: Empowering Larger Applications
The PIKO 12-20 is available with either two or three photovoltaic inputs, depending on the power class. Furthermore, thanks to its wide input voltage and current range, different string lengths, variable numbers of photovoltaic modules, and module types can all be connected seamlessly.
This makes the solar inverter perfect for converting the direct current produced by photovoltaic generators into alternating current, especially in larger photovoltaic installations such as commercial applications.
Should more energy be generated than needed for self-consumption, the solar inverter feeds the surplus electricity into the public grid.
The optional KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter monitors electricity consumption. The energy meter can also be used to interconnect multiple solar inverters or to establish a dynamic injection limitation of 70%.

The mounting location for the inverter can be chosen flexibly: both indoors and outdoors - it can be used without the need for further adaptations due to the high degree of protection of the housing.

With input current capacities of up to 20 amps, the PIKO 12-20 is ready to handle the maximum power output of the new 400W module generation. This version of the equipment enables three-phase injection and, equipped with up to 3 PMP trackers, it's well-suited for flexible rooftop designs.
The extensive input voltage range and up to three independent PMP trackers facilitate the flexible design of strings accommodating up to 19 solar modules from the new 400W generation. This flexibility allows for varying string lengths, adjusting the number of photovoltaic modules, and accommodating different module types.
