The Victron RS 48V 6000VA Smart Solar Inverter is an advanced device for our off-grid photovoltaic installation where reliable alternating current is required. This model makes it easier for us to have the same device: a high-frequency inverter with 6000VA output power and also an MPPT-type solar charge controller.

The new RS range of Victron inverters has two Smart devices with 6000VA output power that work at 48V battery voltage. The main difference between the two is that the Solar model at hand incorporates a high-voltage MPPT-type photovoltaic regulator that can support up to 4kW peak solar power.

The Victron RS 48V 6000VA Smart Solar, solar charger inverter is a guarantee of reliability and stability, thanks to the advanced design of its power stage with high frequency technology. Thanks to this, the inverter weighs only 11Kg with high efficiency, low consumption at rest and silent operation.

The Victron RS 48V 6000VA Smart Solar Inverter offers up to 6000VA of output power from the inverter itself, integrating a bidirectional direct current converter. This allows the battery to be recharged when there is excess solar energy that is not being used, and the missing energy can also be extracted from the battery. It works with 48V batteries of any technology and its MPPT regulator supports a wide operating range, between 80 and 450Vdc with a starting voltage of 120Vdc.

Thanks to its screen and its integrated Bluetooth communications, we will be able to visualize the operation of the inverter and also configure it remotely. In addition, it incorporates VE.Can and VE.Direct communication ports to integrate it with all the brand's GX monitoring components.

The Victron RS Smart Solar inverter can work with any battery technology, including lithium batteries, which support communication. The most common application of this type of inverter is to work in off-grid installations as an isolated inverter. The batteries are recharged with the solar panels connected to the regulator itself, which includes the inverter, or to more additional regulators in case we need additional power.

In order to have maximum control over the operation of the solar installation, it is highly recommended to include any of Victron's GX devices, such as Color Control, Venus or Cerbo. From the Victron Connect app, thanks to the Bluetooth communications that the RS Smart Solar inverter integrates, we can view its operation and configure parameters, as well as carry out firmware updates from our Smartphone.

With a GX device we will be able to communicate the inverter with the Victron VRM portal for remote monitoring and management that can centralize and supervise the performance of the entire system.

It also includes a screen on the inverter chassis itself where we can also see a lot of information about the inverter, the battery and the MPPT solar charge controller.

The Victron RS Smart Solar can work without any problem with practically any 48V battery on the market. Its great flexibility and adaptability allows it to be configured to charge a lead battery of any technology, whether sealed or open OPzS type. Victron regularly updates its software to ensure compatibility with the vast majority of lithium battery brands on the market. It is a guarantee for the future.

If more solar charging power is needed to charge batteries, it is recommended to use an MPPT model from Victron's own brand. In this way, if we have a GX visualization panel, we will unify production and have greater control of the data.

In addition, it also supports working with a photovoltaic inverter connected to the grid to be able to feed a greater number of consumptions in solar hours. It is recommended that it be of the Victron or Schenider brand for greater compatibility.
