Description of the Steca Solarix PLI 5000-48 Inverter

The Steca Solarix PLI range is the first Steca Elektronik product to offer a complete package, as it allows consumers to be powered by 230 VAC, battery charged with an integrated MPPT charge controller and at the same time connected to a generator or to the existing electrical network.

It is the perfect combination to complete your off-grid solar PV installation with just a 24V battery system and some solar panels. Also, since the battery can be charged from a generator or the utility grid, it can function as an uninterruptible power supply due to the switching time of up to 10 milliseconds and the flexibility to choose power priority.

The pure sine wave solar device incorporates a peak follower in the charge controller to ensure that maximum performance is always obtained from the solar panel, even in adverse weather conditions, to best charge the battery while powering the battery burden.

It consists of an LCD display with 3 LEDs to indicate the operating status of the inverter. In addition, up to 28 different parameters can be configured, such as battery type, AC output voltage, AC inverter output priority, alarms, etc. to fully optimize the device for each specific installation. It also has a connection to a computer with an interface, serial RS-232 or USB.
