Steca 15A PR1515 Charge Regulator with LCD display, the price is sensational. Provide a control on the battery charge.

The Steca 15A PR1515 charge regulator with LCD display allows you to control the state of charge of the batteries, preventing them from being deeply discharged. Through this charge regulator, we can connect panels that produce up to 15A.

Through its LCD screen, we can know the state of charge of the batteries, among many other indications, such as if the solar panels are charging the batteries at that moment, and if the batteries are discharging due to some consumption that we have on.

State-of-the-art charging technologies combined with state-of-charge determination with the Steca-AntonIC, which has been further improved, form the perfect unit for battery care and monitoring connected to this Steca regulator.

Using symbols, a large display informs the user about the operating states. The charge level is visually represented by an indicator bar. Data such as voltage, current and state of charge can also be displayed digitally on the display as numbers. In addition, the regulator has an energy meter that the user can reset.

How to connect the Steca 15A charge controller to the solar installation?

First step: Connect the battery Connect the battery connection cables to the charge controller with the correct polarity on the middle pair of terminals (with the battery symbol). Connect the battery connection cable A+ to the positive pole of the battery. Connect the battery connection cable A– to the negative pole of the battery. If the polarity of the connection is correct, the LCD screen will turn on.

Step Two: Connect the Solar Module. Make sure that the solar module does not exceed the maximum allowable input current. First connect the M+ solar module connection cable to the left pair of terminals of the charge controller (with the solar module symbol) with the correct polarity, then the M- cable.

Step three: Connect consumers. First connect the consumer connection cable L+ to the right pair of terminals (with the lamp symbol) with the correct polarity, then the cable L-. Notes: Consumers with a current consumption higher than the current output can be connected directly to the battery, such as an inverter. However, in this case, the total discharge protection of the charge controller will not be activated.
