Victron Energy brand 12v - 130A (C20) AGM monoblock battery that requires no maintenance and is completely sealed.
VICTRON Energy AGM 12V – 130Ah /C100 solar battery. These batteries do not require maintenance and are ideal for photovoltaic installations as they have a very low internal resistance which makes them suitable for uses that involve a high discharge intensity such as inverters, propulsion systems or starter motors.
Technical characteristics
- Battery with VRLA technology.
- VRLA stands for Valve Regulated Lead Acid, which means that the battery is sealed.
- Gas will only escape from the safety valves in the event of an overload or a component failure.
- VRLA batteries do not require any type of maintenance.
Sealed AGM battery (VRLA).
AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed by capillarity in a fibreglass mat located between the plates. AGM batteries are more suitable for supplying very high currents for short periods (starting) than Gel batteries.
Low self-discharge.
Thanks to the use of lead-calcium grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for a long time without recharging. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C. Self-discharge doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature. In a cool environment, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for a year without recharging.
The AGM range has very low internal resistance, making them very suitable for applications involving high discharge intensity, such as inverters, boosters and starter motors.
