Advantages of the Solar Panel ULICA 410w mono perc Tierc 1

The Ulica 410w solar panel with its new split cell technology improves the performance of the photovoltaic system in many aspects, here we can see the main ones:

Decrease in thermal resistance: Thanks to the use of the split cell, the current that circulates through the panel is divided into two parts and the losses due to thermal resistance decrease. Simply with this configuration change on the panel we have a gain of up to 10w compared to a conventional module.

Panel temperature decrease: Split cells have better heat dissipation compared to a conventional cell, so there is also less possibility of having a hot spot in the future. In addition, Perc technology, thanks to the use of reflection, further reduces losses due to temperature.

Better behavior in shadows: Due to the fact that the panel is divided into two chains connected to each other in parallel, if we have the effect of a partial shadow, half of the panel continues to work, therefore we considerably reduce the losses.

MBB Technology: The multi bus bar of its cells has the advantage of reducing electrical resistance by limiting the distance between the transfer of electrical current from the conductors. The gain is between 5 and 10w per solar panel and the chances of having defects such as "microcracks" decrease significantly.

Charge regulators for ulica 410W panels

Ulica 410 w mono perc split cell panels have electrical characteristics very similar to 72 cell panels. In fact, although the panel is made up of 144 divided cells, in reality, being in two strings in parallel, we have 144/2 = 72 cells.

The charge regulators that we can use with these panels are therefore the same as with the 72-cell panels.

We recommend the use of mppt for its higher performance and to be able to take full advantage of the features of the Ulica high performance board.
In self-consumption systems we can use them perfectly for systems connected to the network, ulica panels allow connection up to 1500V in series thanks to its certified connection box for a high number of strings in series.
