Fronius Primo Gen24 6.0 Plus inverter with the latest technology for direct self-consumption installations.
Ready for the private energy transition: As the heart of the private photovoltaic system, our Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter enables households to produce their own energy in a flexible, sustainable and profitable way. In addition, the use of a storage battery enables complete energy self-sufficiency in terms of electricity, heating, cooling and electric mobility.
The Fronius GEN24 Plus has an integrated emergency basic power supply system ("PV Point"), which can be optionally completed with a complete system ("Full Backup") connected to a storage battery.
- The heart of private photovoltaic installations
- Quick installation and configuration
- Sustainably developed and manufactured
Characteristics of the FRONIUS Primo GEN24 6kW Hybrid Inverter
The FRONIUS Primo GEN24 6kW Hybrid Inverter is a 6kW grid-connected inverter of single-phase output power that does not have a transformer. This new range of the Fronius family includes new features developed with the most cutting-edge technology on the market for direct self-consumption installations, both with and without accumulation. Some of the most outstanding features are:
Controlled active cooling: This system has forced ventilation, thus providing a longer useful life of the components. On the other hand, it has IP66 protection which allows installation both indoors or outdoors.
Total Backup energy: by combining the inverter with a storage system, you can supply emergency energy for single-phase consumption through the battery, with a time variation of less than 90 seconds. This produces a high autonomy and flexibility in situations in which there is a power outage. To make use of this function it is necessary to decouple from the network by means of contactors, thus preventing the Fronius from working in parallel with the electrical network and there being voltage in the line upstream of the meter.
PV Point: This function is integrated into the inverter. It is an emergency energy, because in the face of any interruption of the electrical supply, this inverter is capable of generating output of up to 3kW in single phase even without the need to have batteries installed.
The family of hybrid inverters Fronius Primo GEN24 has communications, including datalogger and server, in order to keep track of the start-up and monitoring of the plant. In addition, it has 2 RS485 connections in order to be able to communicate with the Smart Meter wattmeter.
The FRONIUS Primo GEN24 6kW Hybrid Inverter has a very high efficiency, the European performance of 97%, reaching its maximum performance reaching 97.4%.
The start-up of the Fronius system is very simple, as it is for the rest of the Fronius product. This is thanks to the new solar.start tool. The Fronius solar.web application includes monitoring and analysis tools, in order to be able to access and control the operation of the plant.
Applications and features of the FRONIUS Primo GEN24 6kW Hybrid Inverter
The FRONIUS Primo GEN24 6kW Hybrid single-phase grid-connected inverter and all the models in the GEN24 range incorporate 2 MPPT, which gives it a lot of versatility to be able to distribute the panels in 2 different orientations or inclinations, such as on a pitched roof, or in 2 series of different electrical characteristics.
This type of inverter is one of the most efficient and therefore electricity can contribute to your installation. This is thanks to its flexible design and Dynamic Peak Manager technology, which has a tolerance sensor for shadow areas. Thanks to this, sometimes power optimizers are not necessary, although Fronius inverters are compatible with some models on the market.
Grid connection installations are the most profitable in the long term, given the drastic reduction in billing to the electricity company and the long life of the components of these systems. This type of installation can be carried out with the FRONIUS Primo GEN24 6kW Hybrid Inverter, once connected to the grid, you only have to decide if you want to include batteries for self-consumption, which store the surplus solar production. In this way, the investment is maximized since only the electrical network is used to obtain the energy that cannot be covered with solar production or with that stored in the batteries. If we incorporate a battery, we can decide that it is only recharged with the solar production that we are not consuming, storing that energy so that the inverter can take advantage of it at times of lower production or at night.
