Description of the Lithium LiFePO4 Victron 12.8V 330Ah Smart Battery

The Victron 12.8V 330Ah Smart LiFePO4 Lithium Battery is a 12.8V monoblock battery that has a capacity of 330Ah and a stored energy of 4224Wh.

Thanks to its sealed design, it does not require any maintenance. They are the safest lithium iron phosphate batteries on the market and have a rated voltage per LFP cell of 3.2V (lead-acid: 2V/cell). Therefore, this 12.8V LFP battery consists of 4 cells connected in series.

One of the biggest advantages of these batteries over lead acid batteries is that they do not need to be fully charged. Its lifespan will even improve if it is partially charged instead of fully charged. Other advantages are wide working temperature range, wonderful cycling performance, low internal resistance and high efficiency.

This battery can be used in various applications, especially off-grid, solar and/or wind applications, but also for the most demanding applications.

It has one of the full cycle energy efficiencies (discharge from 100% to 0% and recharge to 100%) of 92%, one of the highest in the sector. Installation of the Lithium LiFePO4 Victron 12.8V 330Ah Smart Battery 

These LFP batteries have integrated cell balancing and control. Up to 5 batteries can be installed in parallel and up to four 12V or two 24V batteries in series, so that a bank of 48V batteries up to 1500Ah can be configured.

Cell balancing/monitoring cables can be daisy-chained and must be connected to a battery management system (BMS). This system can:
